At Madverse, we recognize your interest in changing your artist name and associating releases under that name. However, please note that we do not support artist name changes due to the following reasons:
Platform Restrictions: Some digital service providers (DSPs) do not permit changes to artist names after the initial release.
Metadata Update Delay: Updating metadata across DSPs can take more than 28 days, affecting the visibility and recognition of your new artist name, followers and listeners.
If you wish to release music under a new artist name, you may consider the following workaround:
Remove older releases associated with the current artist name.
Create a new Madverse Account with the new artist name.
Re-distribute the releases under the new name using existing ISRCs (International Standard Recording Codes).
