Every release moves through a defined set of statuses in your Madverse dashboard, from submission to going live.
3.1.1 The status taxonomy
Always use the labels on Releases (web sidebar), not internal codes.
| What you see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not submitted |
| Pending / Under Review | Submitted; waiting on review |
| Auxy Reviewing | Automated QC running |
| Needs Action | You (or Support) must fix something. Edit Album works here. |
| License Required | Rights proof still needed — goes through Support |
| Final Review | Post-Auxy human check — not “Pending” |
| Processing | Approved; identifiers / delivery starting |
| Queued Delivery | QC passed but not Delivered yet (often waiting on Apple/Spotify artist profiles) |
| Delivered / Live | Sent to stores; Live once the consumer date is reached |
| Rejected / Queued Take Down / Taken Down | Not approved, or takedown in progress / done |
You cannot self-edit Under Review, Auxy Reviewing, Final Review, Queued Delivery, Delivered, or Live — contact Support with the title or UPC. Needs Action is the exception.
3.1.2 Status is platform-agnostic
Madverse's dashboard status reflects Madverse's own pipeline. A release showing "Live" has been successfully delivered and at least one platform has confirmed availability — it does not guarantee every selected platform has finished its own independent ingestion. See 4.15 for why staggered go-live across platforms is normal.
