5.2 - Royalty Payment Timelines

Madverse processes royalty reports about 4 months after the streams. Seeing streams in Analytics (or on Spotify) before money appears in Finance → Statements is normal — this is reporting lag, not Madverse holding your money.

5.2.1 A worked example

In plain terms: streams in January typically appear in Finance → Statements around May. Always allow about 4 months. This reflects DSP reporting cycles — it is not Madverse holding your money.

5.2.2 Why timelines vary slightly by DSP

Each DSP closes its own accounting on its own internal schedule, so the exact day can vary slightly — but Madverse Statements still lag about 4 months behind the streams. Check Finance → Statements, not Analytics.
