Sign-up takes under 3 minutes via the website or the Madverse mobile app.
1.6.1 Sign-up flow
- Go to madverse.co and choose email + password, or continue with Google.
- Use an email address you actually check — release status, Statements, and billing mail go there.
- Complete KYC when prompted. KYC is required to distribute music (when enabled on the account) and before you can cash out royalties.
- Set your primary artist name exactly as you want it on Spotify / Apple Music — spelling, casing, and punctuation. No emoji, URLs, or role words in the name.
1.6.2 Choosing your artist name
Set this carefully — it becomes your identity on every DSP. Per both Apple's and Spotify's naming standards (see 2.3), your name must be the real, complete, standard spelling of your artist identity, used consistently across every release. It must not contain emoji, generic descriptors, or role/instrument information.
1.6.3 After signing up
Complete your payout details and KYC verification before your first royalty withdrawal. Music can be uploaded and distributed before completing these steps, but withdrawals require them — see 1.7.
