Beyond the release date, you can specify the time of day your music goes live. Different DSPs honour time-of-day controls with different precision.
2.24.1 Default timing
Without a specified time, releases typically go live at midnight local time per territory, meaning different parts of the world access the release at different clock times on the same calendar date.
2.24.2 Setting a global release time
Madverse allows a specific time to be set, applying at that moment simultaneously worldwide — earlier in Asian time zones, later in the Americas.
2.24.3 Time zone calculation for Indian artists
IST is UTC+5:30. A midnight IST Friday release corresponds to Thursday 18:30 UTC — meaning US-based editorial and playlist systems see the release as live on a Thursday, ahead of their own Friday. If alignment with US-market editorial timing matters for your campaign, scheduling around midnight Eastern Time ensures the release lands at the start of the US industry's release day instead.
