Royalty splits let you automatically divide track earnings with collaborators — a Professional plan feature.
5.8.1 How splits work
Configure a percentage split per track; once all parties accept, future royalties are divided automatically before crediting each collaborator's balance.
5.8.2 Splits are not retroactive
A split applies only to royalties earned after activation — any royalties already in the pipeline before the split was confirmed are not redistributed.
5.8.3 Plan availability
- Assign splits: Creator, Professional, or Enterprise (active paid distribution). Vibe / free-only accounts cannot assign splits.
- Receive splits: any plan, including Vibe — the collaborator needs their own Madverse account.
- After a split is finalized it cannot be edited in the app — contact Support to change percentages or payees.
